YOUR WEDDING EXPERIENCE WITH

NEWTON VISUALS PRODUCTIONS

A GUIDE TO OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

Planning a wedding is exciting! It can also be stressful and a little daunting.
NVP Team aims to make your Wedding Videography experience as easy

and as enjoyable as possible.
Let’s explore our most frequently asked questions.

  • - HOW DO I SECURE MY BOOKING?
So, you have chosen your wedding package and decided to book (yay!) First, we will send you out your contract, listing our full terms and a breakdown of your wedding package. We will then send out your invoice – requiring a $500 flat booking/deposit fee. As soon as your deposit is paid your date secured! Deposits can be made via Zelle or Honeybook processing for a fee. The remaining balance is due 21 days before the wedding date.
  • - CAN WE MEET TO LEARN MORE ABOUT NEWTON VISUALS PRODUCTIONS AND YOUR SERVICES?
Before booking, Newton Visuals Productions is available for a Meet and Greet via Zoom or phone call. I use this opportunity to get to know you, show you our portfolio and walk you through our service offerings. After booking, I typically send out a questionnaire to prepare for your wedding day. Newton Visuals Productions will reach out 15-30 days before your wedding date to walk through your wedding day timeline.
  • - WHAT IS YOUR MOST POPULAR PACKAGE?
The Signature Collection, which includes a cinematic wedding film (6-7 min) and 1-2 hours of curated footage that did not make the film will be shared in a seperate video. Upon request, I can tailor a custom package to your wedding needs.
  • - DOES NEWTON VISUALS PRODUCTIONS OFFER DRONE COVERAGE?
Newton Visuals Productions will always try to fly the drone if weather and schedule permits at NO additional cost. The airspace must not have any restrictions (i.e. military base, nearby airports, hospital airspace, etc.).
  • - HOW WILL MY VIDEOS BE DELIVERED?
Your Videos will be delivered via a download link. The main advantage to this as opposed to a USB for example, is your video cannot be lost. The links will always be there! You can download your videos directly from the link.
  • - WE HAVE SPECIFIC REQUESTS FOR OUR VIDEO, CAN WE BE INCLUDED IN THE PLANNING?
Yes! We love when our couples want to get involved and you have your own ideas. This is one of the most important days of your lives and if you have a certain vision then please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate. From a couple that wanted to do a social media reel to a couple who had their heart set on a marryoke! Whatever your request – we can accommodate.
  • - AFTER MY WEDDING, WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY WEDDING COLLECTION?
Depending on the wedding backlog, the full wedding film normally takes 3 to 6 weeks to deliver. Newton Visuals Productions will work on the post production queue based on the wedding event’s date. However, I typically send out Teasers and Highlights within 2 weeks while we complete the full wedding film.
  • - DO YOU TRAVEL? WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?
Yes, Newton Visuals Productions do travel depending on availability. Weddings in Atlanta ITP and OTP do not require a travel fee. If your wedding is more than two hours away from where we are based, we ask for one night’s accommodation. We will not risk travelling to your wedding on the same morning – unexpected traffic jams, accidents, anything could happen and we like to ensure we are within a close enough distance to arrive at your wedding early. Outside of the aforementioned locations, travel fees will vary based on airfare, car rental, and lodging.
  • - WE HAVE BOOKED A DESTINATION WEDDING, WHAT ARE THE ADDITIONAL COSTS AND HOW LONG DO YOU STAY?
We fly all over the world and have visited some truly incredible places! We will arrive at least two days before your wedding and leave the day after your wedding. Additional costs include flights and accommodation.
  • - WHAT HAPPENS IF OUR VIDEOGRAPHER CANNOT MAKE IT FOR SOME REASON?
The benefits of having a team is that we have enough people on stand by if needed. We have not yet been in a situation where the allocated Videographer cannot make a wedding. If needed we would help find a replacement before the event.
  • - IS A WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER WORTH IT?
100%!!! A videographer is an investment every couple should make! “You may think that having both wedding photos and a video are overkill, or may not want to prioritize videography in your budget, but trust us—you'll want to hire a wedding videographer. For one, the day literally flies by and there are things you'll miss that your videographers will capture beautifully, like seeing your grandmother's emotional reaction as you say your vows. Also, you have to think of the sounds that can't be captured in a photo, like your "I dos," the reception music and meaningful toasts.” - The Knot “Video coverage means you'll get to relive some of your favorite wedding moments, whether it's the vows you exchanged, your dad's speech, or the first look. And the best part is you'll be able to share these moments with your friends and family again and again. Maybe you'll even show the video to your kids someday. Plus, you'll watch it more often than you think you would-it's a great way to mark anniversaries.” -Martha Stewart “There are some things that even the best photography just can't capture. Video picks up that slack by recording movement-say, your coordinated first dance or the kids walking down the aisle-and sounds, like your best friend giving her wedding toast. It also captures the mannerisms and personalities of the people you love.” -Martha Stewart
  • - ARE YOU LGBTQIA+ FRIENDLY?
Absolutely, we welcome love in all its beautiful shapes and shades. What we care about is genuineness, vulnerability, and mutual respect. If you’re on board with that, then it’s game on.
  • - WHEN DO YOU TAKE YOUR BREAK?
We take our break when you and your guests sit down to eat your meal. After all, nobody wants photos of themselves eating right? We will stay on site if food is provided, although it isn’t necessary.
